Over the past few days the Preppie classes met Dave the Builder from Rohrig Group, the building company contracted to construct The Branwhite Centre. Rohrig very kindly arranged for each child to be given their own hard hat and hi-vis vest to keep. During his visit, Dave explained to the children what a builder does and wears, and answered many tricky questions, like, “Did you buy the digger?”, “Do you get lunch from the canteen at school?” and “Why is there a big red fence around the building?”. Dressed in their builders outfits, our Preppies then visited the construction site with Dave and watched the builders on site in action. A big thank you to Dave for taking time to visit our youngest students and a huge thank you to Rohrig not only for your generosity but for doing such a wonderful job in building The Branwhite Centre.
