We were delighted to host Year 6 students from across the local area on Wednesday for a Think Tank Engineering Challenge Day. Think Tank is a collaboration between seven local schools who offer events for Gifted and Talented students across a variety of domains each year. The students who attended Engineering Challenge Day explored what engineering is, how it is used and the different types of engineering that exist. All students engaged in each activity with enthusiasm, interest and creativity. They worked productively and collaboratively as they designed and created prototypes, tested their work and implemented modifications to continually improve.
