Year 7 Music students have been extremely engaged in the Stage 4 Music Program this term with every lesson beginning with the question, “Are we doing prac today?” Their project has been to form Rock Bands, select a pop song and learn their part on electric guitar, electric bass, drums, vocals, keyboard, or their major instruments. Once refined, their debut singles will be recorded. Learning to play an instrument and perform in an ensemble is a highly effective way for children to develop and master their enterprise skills. Creativity, problem solving, communication, teamwork and critical thinking skills are all sharpened through the Performing Arts. We are super proud of all our budding rock stars!
