Last Friday our Year 9 and 10 Oceanography students visited Balmoral Beach for their first snorkelling excursion. The main aim of the day was to investigate the Rock Platform and Kelp Forest Ecosystems in the area, and to understand how these ecosystems form critical habitats for a range of different marine creatures.
