The College congratulates our Public Speaking Team who competed at the recent Hills Soroptimist International Public Speaking Competition.

Soroptimist International is an organisation working primarily on projects to advance the human rights and status of women around the world.

This year there was a strong focus on education for women and girls building on the theme for International Women’s Day 2023.

Congratulations to Aarya S (Year 9) who was awarded 1^st place in the Junior High school division, Sherya M (Year 11) who was awarded 1^st place in the Senior High school division and Elisa Z (Year 11) who was awarded second place in the Senior High School division. These students were ably supported by Akina L(Year 11) Najeeb H (Year 9) and Lachlan B(Year 9) who all spoke persuasively about the importance of education for women and girls.
