Our Year 12 Studies of Religion I/II students recently enjoyed an excursion to two religious institutions – the Murugan Temple in Westmead and the Nan Tien Temple in Berkeley. Students experienced a guided tour of the temples, heard a Dharma talk, met and spoke with monks and participated in a tea chan ceremony. Students thoroughly enjoyed this hands-on and memorable learning experience as it sharpened their learning and understanding of principles explored in class.
