Despite its name, Big History is not just a History Course. The Big History Project challenges students to stretch their perceptions of scale and analyse the History of Everything – from the beginning of time to projecting into the Future based on patterns and evidence from the past and present. To do this, classes draw on knowledge from a whole range of disciplines within the sciences, philosophy and the humanities to gain a holistic understanding of life as we know it. Here, students are working towards presenting their research topics of choice to help to display their understanding of Big History thus far, prior to launching into the next Threshold of Evolution next term.
