This week we have been celebrating Library Lover’s Week, a salute to libraries and all they offer. Both the Primary and Secondary walls have been decorated with encouraging messages to start a good book. Head of Library, Nicole Yule says “Research shows the vitally important role reading for pleasure plays in developing student’s literacy. We focused on a variety of genres and encouraged students to borrow a book to fall in love with, whether it is from the romance, classic, humour, historical, action, mystery or biography genre”. Thank you to our wonderful Teacher Librarians who make the Library and reading fun and accessible for all students.
