The College community congratulates Lola W (Year 5) who competed in the Soccer State Championships for the Combined Independent Schools last week in Nelson Bay. Lola played in a number of hard-fought matches over 4 days resulting in both wins and losses but were all enjoyable. In addition to CIS, Lola plays for Hills United and is part of the Future Wander Women program at the Western Sydney Wanderers. This makes life very busy as Lola is either training or competing most days of the week. In between competing and training Lola has been inspired by the Matilda’s efforts at the Women’s World cup, her favourite player being Katrina Gorry.

Lola has big dreams for a future in soccer. Through hard work and dedication, we are certain that she will achieve her best.
